  Anyone know about “Sony HDCam” video?

  Hello!

  I filmed my short film in Standard Definition and rendered the final project to AVI.

  For the Sundance Film Festival, they want us to convert the Standard Video to — Sony HDCam video, 1080i / 60i

  Is there a company that will convert my short film to this odd format for Digital Video Projection?

  There are several service bureaus that will convert your project from whatever to HDCAM. Google HDCAM +Service Bureau.
  HDCinema will probably come first, they are pretty good, or used to be.

  I had that exact question. If you find the answer, please let me know.

  Has your film gotten selected for Sundance yet? I’m not sure when they let people know. I’m submitting mine next Friday for the features category.
