  Video overlay problem

  When I try to overlay two videos, one on top of the other using two video tracks (I believe the correct termonology is picture-in-picture?), I get these random white vertical screeching lines in some frames. Someone suggested it might be a size problem or even a codec problem. So I recorded two videos with the same size and with the same program (fraps) and I still get those lines. Could anyone please help me resolve this issue?

  Sounds like an interlacing issue. What is the source that you used to create the FRAPS video? Are these rips from the web?
