  • question regarding interlace.

    hi all,
I’m creating a PAL STD project.and then outputting to a BETA TApe . I’m using lots of pngs images .So should i enable interlace option in them? What interlace is affecting actually?
This BETA tape is then used for PAL broadcasting.

also one more question. What is the capturing output of VEgas from a BETA tape ? Is it an avi or we can specify the format ? what would be the best lossless format when capturing from a BETA tape?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi,

    interlace:
enable it, just slightly blur your images.
If you pan to move those images (pan/crop) you can even benefit
    from interlacing – smoother motion.

    BETA:
It is an analog format, so you have to digitize.
I guess your output format will be dv-avi (depends on your
    capture hardware/software).

    Hope I could help
