  Importing Animated Gif’s without borders

  I would like to import my own animated Gifs into the Vegas 7 timeline on a layer over an existing video layer.
  I have been able to do this, but the Gif retains this annoying border (albeit thin) which makes the blend seem
  tacky. Are there any techniques I can use to prevent this border from showing? Is it there for editing purposes only and will disappear upon rendering? Any help would be appreciated. The Gif’s I am importing do have a transparent canvas. When I import still PNG’s in this fashion, I do not get this negative effect.
