  creating clips

  hi everyone!

  i was wondering if anyone could help me with creating clips from a DVD that is broken into 4 sections, containing 25 chapters(that i am having trouble accessing on vegas) …

  To get the video into Vegas go to File > Import > DVD Camcorder Disc.

  Beyond that, you will have to be more specific wih your question.

  thanks, gary. i know that this is a rookie question……

  i can import it. but, it imports it in 5 parts. i need to get into those 5 parts and make clips. it’s a dance concert, and i want to make a reel of the individual pieces, or just clips of individual pieces. should i use the trimmer? i’m having troubles………

  You can use the trimmer or cut them up on the timeline (split with the s key).

  Be aware that you will be recomressing the mpeg video to make a DVD from your edit and you will loose some quality.
