I have a video where I’m moving still pics of health care workers. I am using pan crop and moving the still across the screen, and/or zooming on the pic. On several of the pics there is distortion when I play it back in monitor…and it seems to be worse when I render. The distortion is only in part of the pic…like the doctor stehescope which is vertical, as the pic is moved across the screen it appears like the stethescope is moving…. on another pic of a health care worker in a home…I am zooming and moving the pic, and there is a gold picture frame in the shot that appears to glisten….and on another there are some blinds on a window and when the picture is moved or zoomed the blinds seem to be waving…. the entire picture isn’t distoring, just parts of it. ideas? Thanks.

2 cents worth here. Right click offending media, select ‘switches’, select ‘reduce interlace flicker’ and select ‘force resample’ and under ‘project properties’ set for ‘best’ render quality and set for ‘blend fields’ under deinterlace method. Seems to work here for many problematic pan & crop problems.

Thanks Chris. I’ll give it a try.
