flickering greenscreen footage
I’ve received some greenscreen footage. Keying was a pleasure ‘cos keylight works like a charm. Although screen Matte was pure black and white, when i’ve exported it to quicktime [codec-animation, Million of colors + alpha], when I opened the exported file – there was [and still is] awful flickering on black areas.
I’ve tried all the codecs in quicktime format, but on every single movie i have this annoying flicker.project color settings
depth: 8 bits per channel
working space : adobe 1988

My mistake – when I wrote “export” I meant ctrl +m and the whole journey through Render queue. I’ll be more precise in the future.
After six hours of fighting with keyligh i’ve found out, that’s not keylights fault. It’s a matter of dv footage i received. It has some noise [or grain] on it and after keying it’s just sligtly more visible, than before keying. I’ve learned a lot during these 6 hrs, but my video still looks noisy – so now the question is – is it possible go get grain-free dv footage? Id not – how to reduce this graininess.

I am experiencing intermittent flickering or jumping of my green screen key in AF (Keylight). I’ve tried everything — sometimes the frame and location of the *jump* changes — can’t seem to find the source of it. It’s well lit footage (SONY — ADVHC) and I’ve tried changing my color space (presently HDTV) and bit rate (presently 32)… and asked for HARD color… and read everything I can find on-line. Still, there is occasional *jumping* — like the head and shoulders — completely unacceptable. Certainly someone must have run into this before… What am I doing wrong? What direction can I take to begin to remedy this situation?

I find that green screen footage quality is greatly improved with temporal noise reduction.
