I have heard it is possible to scan 4-5 pictures at the same time, then let software turn them into separate files for slideshows, etc. I currently have PhotoShop Elements 2 and the Epson 3170 scanner. I’ve looked through some of the Help files for both of the software, but cannot find how to make this happen. Would appreciate your help. Jim

I do it by framing the multiple-pic scan using Pan/Crop in the Vegas timeline.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that in one of your training videos. Most of the time, though, I need to work on the photos I get–get rid of red eye, e.g. Thanks for responding. Jim

It just occurred to me that I could do all the repair work on the scan with several pics, then use pan and crop as you suggested. Thanks! Jim

Some scanning software allows specifying multiple scan areas.

The more I think about it, the more I want to be able to use batch scanning, so if someone has some other ideas, I’m still interested. TIA, Jim
