    Edward’s wife wrote me this morning to let me know that Edward’s in the hospital and asked me to pass it on to the community.

    She wrote:

    Hello – this is Jo Troxel, Edward’s wife. I just wanted to let you know that Edward is in the hospital in ICU. He has some heart problems and is being monitored currently. He did not have a heart attack, however, it is not functioning properly. As of right now, he is doing better. He will be undergoing some tests tomorrow, but hopefully will get to come home on Tuesday. He doesn’t have his computer with him, so it will be a few days until he will be able post. Thanks for all of your support of Edward over the past years. I know he appreciates all of you. I just wondered if you could post something on the Vegas forum to let them know.

    Thanks,

    Jo

    Our prayers are with you Edward. Get well soon.

    I have only been on here a short while… and Ed… you do not only inspire me with the answers to so many problems.. but the stations that transmit my footage…using Vegas…have also enjoyed the results you so tirelessly have helped me provide through your answers here and in your tutorials.I think of this poem entitled..’It Couldnt Be Done ‘ by Edgar Guest…..

    Somebody said that it couldn’t be done,
    But, he with a chuckle replied
    That “maybe it couldn’t” but he would be one
    Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.

    So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
    On his face. If he worried he hid it.
    He started to sing as he tackled the thing
    That couldn’t be done, as he did it.

    Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that;
    At least no one we know has done it”;
    But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
    And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.

    With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
    Without any doubting or quiddit,
    He started to sing as he tackled the thing
    That couldn’t be done, and he did it.

    There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
    There are thousands to prophesy failure;
    There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
    The dangers that wait to assail you.

    But just buckle right in with a bit of a grin,
    Just take off your coat and go to it;
    Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
    That cannot be done, and you’ll do it

    Thanks everyone.

    I’m home now but going slow over the next several days. Everything now checks out “normal” but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on things. All test are good and it was NOT a heart attack.

    Glad to see that you’re home, but don’t just jump right in… Try to take it easy for a few days. Rest up.
