Problem Rendering Uncompressed AVI…Losing Quality, Please Help!
I’m doing a spot for broadcast. My graphics guy gives me an uncompressed quicktime (progressive) from AE, I put that on the Vegas timeline, check it on my monitor, and it looks fantastic. I add black, bars, slate, and drop a tweaked “broadcast colors” filter on the clip, and render it out as an uncompressed AVI. This new AVI looks ok, but not as sharp as the original (edges are slightly blurry on my broadcast monitor). This goes the same if I render it as an uncompressed quicktime.
Can I render this file uncompressed without losing quality and retaining those sharp edges?
FYI: I tried renering this quicktime without any filtes (untouched) and it still losses the quality.
Thanks for any help you can throw my way,
Keith
