Sony Training streaming from NAB
Does anyone know if there are any demos or training videos streaming from NAB 2006 for any Sony video editing software? There were some from NAB 2005 but I haven’t seen any from this year.

They were done last year (and the year before) because that’s when Vegas 5 & 6 were introduced. No Vegas 7 this week so we’ll have to be patient a bit longer 🙂

You never know, someone may have got some shots at the Vegas Party on Tuesday – it would be good to see a few faces behind the names …..

Over the past several years, The Southern California Vegas Users Group, aka SCVUG, provided the crews to produce, record, edit and stream the Vegas 5 and 6 training seminars from NAB.
This year, because Vegas 7 will be released later in fall, the SCVUG did not produce them at NAB 2006.
Anyone who wishes to view the Vegas 6 Training seminars from NAB 2005, may do so, free of charge on the VegasEditors.com website.

I was standing in line for food at NAB and a Sony employee was talking to his buddy. He didn’t realize I was a user. The only thing I got was that handling DXCAM footage would be in it. I specifically asked if it would be 10 bit. He said he wasn’t sure but also said he could not say.
