I have a 30 second clip. I want to speed up some of the clip and slow down other areas of the clip. This is very easy to do in vegas with the velocity envelope. However, if I want my clip to end on a certain frame (and still be 30 seconds) is there any easy way for me to do this without trial and error. That is I want to hold the fist and last frame and then make a bunch of points which are adjustable but don

You will add frames (length)by slowing down and remove frames by speeding up. If you do equal amounts of both (at differet points :>)
your clip should remain the same length. By expanding the time line to make small changes easier to work with, you could place a node just after the first frame and just before the last frame and bring each to ‘normal speed. But you would not notice this visually (It would be like a subliminal change) To notice it visually I would think that you would need at least 10-15 frames (1/2 second)
    I hope this helps.

I would like to add my point to a frame not to a time so I can visually see it how close I am. I think you are still saying that this is a trial and error process. This is OK I was just hoping there was a better way.
