Hello everyone,
I am having trouble with capturing. “No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection.” message apears. I am using composit method.
Any help would be greatly apretiated.

I’ve never seen that message come up and a Sony Vegas knowledge base search didn’t turn up anything.
What do you mean by “using composit method”? -
This reminds me on a message sent by directshow…
Guess you’re trying to captore using some directx based app?If yes, try to reinstall directx, all the codecs you want to use, and the capture app.

Hi Sirbata. Did you solve this issue ? I have hame problem. I am trying to capture from composite input on ATI RADEON X850 and getting this message “No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection”. Fresh installed XP SP2 with all updates, directx 9.0c and latest drivers from ATI. Nothing help, still have this message.

Easy solution: Capture via FIREWIRE through a convertor/camera.

It seems the problem is not with capture. I just find out that I can capture. If I do following: I see preview screen with picture from VCR (composite signal) then I press “capture video” button and I got this message “No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection”, I cancel this message box and see that “capture video” button still pressed and I just klick it one more time and the capture starts (capture duration counts) and I got avi file, but I see “preview suspended during capture” screen.
It is kind of weird and does not look right.Any ideas??
