Mark All tracks from Current timeline position to End of Timeline (simple method?)
As you can read in the subject, my question is if there is a simple method to
mark all clips on all tracks from the current timeline position to end of the timeline. this I have to do quite often, and I guess I am not the only one.
My current method is to zoom out to see the whole project timeline, change to “Selection Edit Tool” and mark with the ‘rectangle marking method’ all of the clips. Then i zoom in again and change to “normal edit tool”
Since I would like not to do this zooming, is there a more simple/fast method?

Either Ultimate S or Excaliber has this function that works quite quickly and simply. I am not at my editor and cannot remember which one has it (I have both). I use it alot.

would be great if you could find out which function this is. that is to say, how it can be done.
PS: strange actually that sony hasn’t integrated this thing. I guess every editor needs to do this quite often…

Try Ctrl+Shift+End (or Ctrl+Shift+Home)

I use the Select Events tool in Excalibur. Ultimate S has a similar function. Scripting is definitely the way to go for this task. I have the “Select Events” button on my toolbar so all I have to do is push a button and I’m done!

I assume that you are needing to select the events.
Why do you need to do this? If it is to move the events en masse, then you can use the ripple mode without needing to select events.

This ability is in Excalibur “select events” All events under curser and beyond and on selected lines.

I have to admit that i seem not to be smart enough to solve this problem by using the trimmer, i prefer to select all the events. Now I got Ultimate S, still I didn’t figure out which function is the one I am searching for.
Can anybody help?
