    Hi guys,

I have got some material on DVCPRO and need to caputure it using Sony Vegas 5. I am using a Panasonic AJ-D250 deck, when capturing everything is fine, however when the capture is complete everything is highly pixelated and distorted. If anyone has any suggestions as to why this may be happening or how to rectify it I would be extremely grateful.

    Thanks alot

    Ross.

Do the properties say it’s a different format (i.e. capturing NTSC but it reads as being PAL)?

If yes, try capturing again but start a few seconds into the footage.

    Hi Edward,

I have tried what you suggested but with no success. Thanks for your advice though.

    Ross.

How is the original? I had a camera once that was no good and my original tape was all pixelated to begin with

Thanks for the reply. The source material is fine, it has been checked on the camera and also another machine.
