  Video or Not? I can’t see it, please help!

  I need help getting the videos to show in Vegas. I have AVI’s that I’ve imported directly from my hard drive and they don’t show in the preview or track. The audio works, but I can’t see anything. What do I need to do? The video was taken w/ my digital camera (FujiFilm FinePix z1), but the AVI’s play fine in Windows Media Player. In my media bin there are the files, but there’s just a symbol there, no screenshot or anything. I’m a video Noob and need serious help, thanks for anything.

  Odds are pretty good that the files are created using an MJPEG codec.
