  Free Transform Shape

  I haven’t used After Effects in quite some time and am getting back into it. What should seemingly be a simple task that I’m trying to do is becoming quite annoying.

  I created a Shape Layer with an ellipse and simply want to “Free Transform” the shape. I am not able to select just a single point on the ellipse, and the “Free Transform” option under Mask and Shape Path is grayed out.
