  importing from Sony DVD handycam

  i recently purchased the sony DVD403 handycam and then followed up with vegas movie studio 6. when i tried to import the contents of my first recorded dvd (dvd-r format) only 4 of 15 segments were picked up by the software. vegas support has been useless. any help is greatly appreciated.

  Did you use file>import>DVD camcorder disc?

  i did and every time i try, the same thing happens – only 4 files are recognized and imported. at that, they are not even ones recorded consecutively. the only advice the support people gave me so far was to reinstall vegas. predictably, that did not help.
