Vegas Moviemaker + DVD & DVD Architect
I recently purchased Vegas Moviemaker + DVD that comes bundled with DVD Architect. I captured video from my Sony camcorder and created a file that woudl output to create a DVD. The software automatically takes you from Moviemaker into DVD Architect. I followed the steps as directed and sucessfully burned a DVD, however when I play in any DVD player in my home, it will NOT read the disc. I have a new DVD player with the latest compatibility and do not understand why the DVD’s will not play. I have created 3 of them and none will work. What am I missing that is causing this problem. I am using a standard DVD-R.

It could be the player. It could be the disc. You say the player is supposedly compatible. Have you checked it against any of the web lists? Also, what brand of DVD did you use? Not all are created equally.
