  Print to tape audio levels

  When printing to DV tape, I select “play 1KHz tone w/test pattern”. On the recorded DV tape, the 1KHz tone is much lower than the audio of the program, although the audio levels are set correctly during editing.

  This is a problem, as the dub house sets their audio to the 1KHz test tone.

  Any suggestions?

  I could be wrong, but I recall that the Vegas 1KHz tone is at -12 dBm.
