No way! Tim Duncan and Vegas 6 coming to my town!!!
Just got word that Mr. Duncan is coming to a “Sidewalk Salon” meeting here in Birmingham. The Sidewalk film festival is our big festival in town here (Over 10k attendance over the weekend for the past couple years) and it has friendly meet and greet meeting the first monday of each month. I know of only one other Vegas user in town (never met him though) and have been trying to spread the word on my own for a couple years now. So, if you read this Mr. Duncan, you’ve got your work cut out for you but I’m sure you’ll do great! It would be very nice to have more Vegas users in town here.
So, if you live anywhere near Birmingham, come on out!! The Salons are always fun regardless and we’re lucky to have Vegas and Mr. Duncan!! -

You know — on several other lists I participate in, they call me “Mr. Vegas” instead of Mr. Duncan. 😉 Looking forward to seeing you and a whole bunch of folks with Sony. There will be a copy of Vegas 6 as a door prize.

Rojo is a pretty cool place, and walking distance for me. But yeah, I’m enthusiastic b/c I know pretty well everyone who goes to these meetings and I’ve been fighting a losing battle for years to get some respect for Vegas. So now finally they’ll get a look at what Vegas can do.
