  Dynamic Text for Translation

  Hi all,

  I have a problem that’s been plaguing me for years, and could really use some suggestions, or even if it’s possible in AE. I produce a lot of corporate animations that once completed need to be sent out for translation for the on-screen titles & text. Typically they send the project & source files somewhere to be manually translated within the AE project.

  My question is, is there a way for AE to dynamically read a text file ? This way, when it’s time for translation, I can have them edit that external file, and not have to ship them the ENTIRE project & source files. Ultimately, I’m trying to streamline the process. Thoughts ?

  If you haven’t already, I would definitely recommend posting in the the expressions forum.
  I imagine there must at least be a way to set up a comp with text that expressions can pull from or a way to read from an xml file or something similar. I bet someone hanging out over there knows how.
