Hi, I’m having a problem with particles leaking through the deflector. should I create more points in the deflectors, make the the thickness greater or add another deflector in the same location. I want to keep the efficiency high, and the deflector has to be curved. I am trying to simulate a jet of particles flowing around in circular shape like an eddy by using a curved deflector and several forces to blow the particles along the path. I sure wish there were circular and or vortex force objects (Hint Hint)

    Thanks.

A couple of things to try:

    1) put another deflector close behind it, but don’t have the “corners” in the same place. (not a great solution)

    2) use only forces

Unfortunately, you’re trying to do something that pI3 does not have tools to do very easily.

    Alan.

I’ll just muscle through. Is this an area that you will be incorporating onto the next version perchance?

I love to be able to do this sort of thing in PI rather than resort to a full 3D system which takes so much longer.
