  .IP3 Project: How to Go from SD > HD Without Total Re-Do

  Original project: SD 720×480
  New Working Size: HD 1440×1080

  Is there a way to in essence “zoom up” everything within the project, from particles to blockers, etc. to fit new desired HD format without having to start from scratch? Right now, all project elements are obviously too small in the new .ip3 since they were initially designed for its original, earlier SD or 720×480 size.

  Yes. In the Action menu, choose “Scale Project”.

  Keep in mind that for best visual results with some emitters you may want to tweak the emitter a bit — just scaling it up doesn’t make it more HD-like. For instance, if you have a sparkle trail fairydust-style emitter at SD, when going to HD you probably don’t want bigger particles, you probably want more of them (to take advantage of the higher resolution).
