wtupdate particle 3
hi,
i just recently had to reformat my hard drive on my comp and unfortunantly had to re upload ALL of my video editing software. when i did this i only had a problem with p ill 3 the only part that i have problems with is when im trying the updates. its downloads them then when it goes to install them an error message with “unable to find wtupdate.exe ” then fails to insall. i can do any emitters but the software upgrades will not upgrade. any suggestions?

You can download the updater from the following link:
https://www.wondertouch.com/downloads/updates/pIllusion_3041_update.exeAfter installing, auto update should work again.

This is a Vista permissions issue. You should r-click your particleIllusion shortcut (icon) and “run as administrator”, then try the update again.

ok i didnt know that was available to do. (vista is weird haha) thank you very much. ill try that as well.

the “run as admin” worked.. thank you for your help. everything is back and booming great haha. also gloodle is a fun and great little program for passing time haha. anyways i just wanted to thank you for getting back to me and helping me.
