    Hi

I’ve just bought this software to allow me to add explosions to my MAYA animations. I’ve loaded a few avi’s in and after about 30mins of working things start to get really slow and I either get a crash or a hanging situation where the stage is continually looping.

I’m running a Dell Precision M6300 with Quadro FX 3600M graphics card and 2GB RAM

    Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not sure what you mean by “continually looping” — you can’t stop the playback?

Does this happen when you don’t load AVIs but work with the program for a while? How long are the AVIs? How many emitters are you adding? Are you working at high frame numbers? particleIllusion works best with shorter clips, as it often needs to recalculate all particles from frame 1 — if you’re working at frame 3000, that can drag your system down.

    Alan.
