  Avi render with Alpha — missing codecs

  Hi folks;

  I just purchased PI 3.03 and am having difficulty locating the specified codecs that are referred to in the manual that will allow me to export with an Alpha channel.

  When I select AVI I have several codec choices but not the stated Alpha ones ( Legareth, Huffeir etc) am I missing something, do I need to dl additional codecs? I’ve looked in both the renderer and the software render itself.

  Any assistance would be appreciated.

  Those codecs need to be installed. Just Google “Lagarith codec” and “Huffy UV codec” and you’ll find plenty of sites to download from, and instructions for installing.
