I am neww to this program and I have the 30 day demo right now. Question ho do i get the time line from the 120 mark to say 1000 or really any number. Also how do i make an emmitter to last longer,go from a longer period or shorter period. If I have an emmitter move on the stage and want it to explode at the end i can do that but after the smoke clears the original emmiter is still there. How do I get it to leave the stage at a certain frame

Sorry didn’t reply earlier, but missed your post.

It sounds like you want the “stop frame” to be something other than 120 — just type the frame number you want into the last box in the playback toolbar, or ctrl-drag on the frame numbers near the 120 mark. That will move the line.

There are a couple of ways to “turn off” an emitter you don’t need. One is to use the “Active” graph. The other is to step the “Number” graph down to zero at the frame you want the emitter to turn off.

    Alan.
