    Alan:

I’m having this issue consistently after upgrading to 3.0.2, when rendering to avi, the application stops and exits out.

This is what I’ve tried so far: Unchecked and checked “don’t use texture ram for bg images”, I’ve also tried unchecking hardware acceleration. All give me the same result.

I have no problems rendering to .jpg files (which is better anyway) but occasionally I do have a need to render in avi

Any information you might need, let me know so I can get it to you..

    Thanks!

At what point does it crash? Do you get the codec-chooser dialog? If so, what codec are you choosing? (Try a different codec and see if it still crashes)

And please email wondertouch support so I can add you to the 3.0.3 beta test.

    Alan.

    Alan,

It crashes right after you select where to save the file and what format. If you choose avi or don’t choose anything (leaving it at “all supported formats”) , it hangs for a bit, then gives you:

particleIllusion has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Only does this on avi (at least for me) I can still render in other formats..

    Thanks for the help!

    Bryan
