Hi. I’m wondering if its possible to export tracking data from a compositing program and apply it to a particle. Or if there is any other way of tracking the particles? Thanks!

If you right-click on an emitter in the Hierarchy window, you can choose Import>Position Data from the menu and bring data in. After Effects import is handled natively (if you’re on PC and using AE 7 for tracking, you’ll need to do a tiny workaround to get the data in, there’s a tutorial on the wondertouch site). On the wondertouch site under Downloads>Other, you can find a series of scripts and plugins for most 3D programs and Digital Fusion to export data to pI (import it as ‘tab-delimitted text’).
