I’m having a real problem here with final render size.

I want to output 1 frame at 4000px X 1500px approx as a png file
for use in photoshop. I set the stage size correctly and use
pillusionrender to output the image. Problem is I get the final pixel
size I want but the actual image has not been rendered to fill the stage
size. The size seems to be the same as the desktop area I have defined.

How do I achieve the above. Every post I have searched and read in this
particular forum seems to broach this issue but does not fully explain
how the final size is achieved. Im assuming the same principles would apply
as in using a 3D app where you can render any size (dimensions) of image
your system can handle depending on ram.

    1) Set stage size to 4000 x 1500 pix in Project Settings.
    2) Work in pI3 zoomed out until everything is how you want it and save project
    3) render project file in pIllusionRender.

Output should be 4000 x 1500 (the same size as the stage settings).

If you’re on a Mac, you may be limited to 2048 x 1500. This would be a limitation of you graphics card driver.

    Alan.
