April 5, 2007 at 12:39 pmNo, not directly. Here’s what you can do though: using another app, combine your 2 layers of footage into 1 layer of footage, using the color channels from one and the alpha channel from another.
Then use this new single footage layer in particleIllusion, with “get color from layer” and “get transparency from layer” checked. You can turn off the bg footage when rendering.
I think that will work.

April 5, 2007 at 2:33 pmDid you save it as PNG or TGA? If you used a different format, I’d suggest one of those two.

April 5, 2007 at 3:35 pmI said “TGA or PNG” didn’t I? 😉
I don’t usually use TIFF because there are too many different “flavors”, and particleIllusion doesn’t support all of them.
