  .avi from Windows Movie Maker Issue…

  Whenever I try to load a .avi file exported from WMM, Particle Illusion gives a message reading: “Error Initializing AVI”

  How do I remedy this issue?

  What codec are you rendering out with? Some examples could be Cinepack, Microsoft DV, DivX.

  If you are using a codec pIllusion doesn’t understand, then you’ll get a message like that.

  FYI – It’s always best not to use compressed footage until your final product. Yes it takes up more spece, but it’s only temporary and quality is greatly improved in the final product…
