  • What is the best size and image format ?

    Hello,
To create my own animate logos i would like to know what is the better size of image to import in change shape option ?
I have created with Ulead PhotoImpact an image with a circle (image size : 552×498 pixels / Targa format) but when i select it in ‘change shape’ PI displays w=512 h=256 and circle looks as elipse (flater) on the top of the Particle shape import option image area (if i click crop image become correct but as i can’t enlarge rectangle selection as soon as i have clicked a second time image is truncated).
Is my image to big ? what is optimum size of the images that can be imported in emitters or with crop is there a way to change rectangle selection size ?
Thanks in advance for informations and sorry for my english.
    VINCENT

Particle shapes must be powers of 8: 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, etc. So the best thing to do is make your image width and height using these sizes. For instance, 512 x 128, 256 x 256, etc.
