  Composition resolution

  Hi,

  I’m making a new movie that combines captured video (at 1440×1080) and some cgi animations that I am going to create in after effects. The final video will need to be rendered for both widescreen TV and computer monitors. My questions are:

  1) If I plan to display the video on a HD widescreen tv 1920×1080, should I develop my animations at 1920×1080 or just 1440×1080 and scale it up?

  2) Do some newer HD widescreens display square pixels, and if I output at 1440×1080 will it look squished?
