    Hi,

I have two questions, not necessarily related but hopefully the Horita BSG 50 can fix it.. maybe?

The project is on FCP 7 and I’m trying to output to multiple HDCAM tapes with the same timecode

The first issue which I’m not too sure about is… how do I connect the Horita correctly to the HDCAM Deck ( Sony HDW D1800 ) . Right now I’ve got it connected to the Ref in on the Deck with 75ohm switched to ON. When I do ‘Edit to Tape’ the frames slip but the image looks fine. Shouldn’t there be a connection from the Video source as well?? sorry.. really confused..

The second issue is … When I do ‘Print to Tape’ without and without the BSG 50 the display on the deck while printing looks fine but on playback the video looks completely green and very very glitchy.. not sure if this because of no genlock or some other hardware issue??

    My system specs are –

    Mac OS X
    V 10.6.3
    Processor 2 x 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    Memory: 6 GB 667MHZ DDR2 FB-DIMM

    FCP 7.0.3

    Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme

    Sony HDW D 1800 Deck

Hope someone can guide me through this.. Thanks guys!!
