The record inhibit indicator on my deck won’t turn off, thus preventing me from using the deck at all.

I’ve tried multiple tapes, so it’s not an issue with the record inhibit tab being broken on a tape. Anyone know what else could cause this? I’m guessing there is some sort of malfunction, and the deck is locking me out of using it to prevent damage.

I guess you found the record inhibit switch on the pull out draw of the BVW-70. Sorry I didn’t respond faster.

By the way, get a haircut.

Yeah, it seems like it’s often the simplest of things that causes an issue.

No worries on not responding faster. I’ve read many threads where you’ve contributed a lot. Thanks for all the time you put into them.

Haircut, haha. The worst thing is that the photo you see is about 6 months old, so it’s considerably longer now.
