    hi,
have been reading about some cluster solution for higher performance computing, like windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 (CSS 2003), i am just wondering if anyone has any experience to have After effect, or any adobe apps, running on clustered environment? I am aware of the distributed multicomputer rendering solution that AE has, what i am looking for is more about to use multicomputer for the whole AE process, not only for rendering, but also previewing, etc.
    thanks.

AE doesn’t really have a “distributed multicomputer rendering”, the only thing it has is a poor network render mode.
It allows to setup a network share and let clients render over the network.
The only thing that came close to distributed rendering/previewing is X-factor by Gridiron, but that’s discontinued !

    Hi Jan,
Thanks for the response. I agree about the existing network rendeirng which is cumbersome. so guess i don’t many options.
