    hi all,

    i was wondering if they made a wire that was the three component bnc into the one composite bnc.

    if not, what’s another solution?

    Component will not “translate” to composite with just a cable.

    You need a “transcoder” that will convert the signals.

    However, if you have an “S-Video” output, you can simply combine the “Y” wire and the “C” wire together and it becomes a standard composite video signal.

    if you’re really desperate in a pinch you can loop the component signal through a deck. Just go component into the deck and take composite out the deck into whatever you’re dubbing to. This may not be as good as using a real trascoder and may require you to lock the video with a black burst generator.
