October 2, 2010 at 8:55 amLooking a little deeper into flumotion, I don´t think that it is possible, cause Flumotion uses “Managers” and “Workers” for communication, and I don´t think that ffmpeg could connect to a manager and act as a “worker”, but not 100% sure.

October 3, 2010 at 6:47 amThere does appear to be a FFmpeg plug-in for GStreamer hosted on the GStreamer site.
QUOTE: “GStreamer FFmpeg plug-in contains one plugin with a set of elements using the FFmpeg library code. It contains most popular decoders as well as very fast colorspace conversion elements.”
https://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/modules/gst-ffmpeg.htmlFlumotion works on top of GStreamer to my understanding. Not sure if this will help in your situation but shows promise as there is some “collaboration” going on. It might be an idea to raise your issue with Flumotion and/or GStreamer…
