  not able to modify a copy of the default Compressor setting for dvd – field dominance

  In Apple Compressor I’m not able to modify a copy of the default Compressor setting for dvd (stuck on Automatic for field dominance) to ensure that the result is Interlace. I tried the default already (the source was 23.98 progressive) but there are motion artifacts in the result, again to ensure that the result is Interlace… unless someone has an idea what else might be wrong

  Hi Paul,

  I simply don’t think you can create a 23.98 interlaced DVD; 23.98 is always progressive.
