  • Creating a seamless 10s h.264 loop for HTML5

Hi all, I’m wondering if someone could give me some imput on how to best encode a 10s (30fps) video loop in h.264 so that it loops smoothely in HTML5 containers. So far the results have been a very mixed bag, and I want to keep the filesize as low as possible. My biggest problem is the noticable “jump” when the loop happens, as if the new keyframe pops in. Because the animation contains smoke, there is a noticable stutter in clarity, which only goes away when push the VBR significantly higher (which I want to avoid due to filesize).

Any and all input is welcome.
