    hello,

i’ve checked around & haven’t found any actual explanation to accomplish this conversion, maybe because it’s not possible(?)

i got a QT file Pro Res 1080p24 (about 90min). I needed to trim off a few minutes & such, then exported(current settings) a new edited QT file to keep it at Pro Res 1080p24.

now, i need to lay that file off to HDV tape, per client’s request. so, i need to know what’s the best software based work flow to convert to HDV 1080i60.

i have FCS 2&3 available & an HDV Sony 15U deck. i did some test going by advice dealing with other rate conversions using Compressor, but i get (not sure the correct term) frame blending or ghosting or double imaging usually every 4th & 5th frame, especially during any motion.

i appreciate any assistance regarding this ‘not so’ ideal situation.

    thank you in advance.
