Getting Motion Jpeg Compression
I have a client that needs videos compressed to Motion Jpeg to be shown in movie theatres. I have been able to do this before when I was running Quicktime 7 but now I’m running Quicktime 10.0 on a MAC OS X Version 10.6.4. I know before you were able to go into the System Preferences and enable the legacy encoders for quicktime. But now when I go there, there isn’t an option for Quicktime at all.
Is there a way that I can still get the Motion Jpeg codec so I can go into Final Cut Pro or Compressor and pick it as an option?
I would love to use another codec but the theatre only likes JPEG 2000 (which when I export doesn’t play smoothly) and Motion Jpeg.
Any help or suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks!
