  • Compress a 30min movie to a 10mb file?

Posted by Richard Tarantino on October 21, 2009 at 9:21 pm

    Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows a technique or parameter setting I could use in Compressor (or QT Conversion in FCP)to get a 30 minute clip to approx a 10mb wmv file.

I have a Macbook Pro with Final Cut Studio 3, flip4mac, running on OS X Leopard 10.5

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Thank you and best,

10 Megabit or 10 MegaByte file?

Even if it’s 10MegaBytes that only leaves 45Kbits/sec for the video (no audio obviously)

    Forget it:

    P.S. Use this in future:

Thanks Daniel for the input. I kind of figured it was a stretch.
