  After Effects Light Streaks Question

  Hey guys,
  Using trapcode particular I was wondering if there is a way to make it so my light streaks taper
  off like this image:

  Currently from the tutorial it looks like this:

  Should I edit the particle layer that is being used or is their some kind of expression or
  option within trapcode?

  under the particle settings, set the size over life graph to start small, increase to full, the taper to small again.

  to make life ease, you can try the 3rd or 4th graph preset, although with a bit of practice you can get really good at drawing the graph…
