  Sorenson Squeeze-> Flash Video: Audio out of sync

  I am trying to encode some 720 x 480 frame size DV AVI videos to 320 x 240 Flash video using Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 either with the CBR or VBR settings and the On2 VP6 codec. The video have a bit rate of 768 Kbps. In the final Flash video (.flv) the audio goes out of sync about half way through the approx 30 sec. clips The video looks beautiful with the On2 VP6 codec but the audio is screwed up. Any ideas?

  This is known problem if you choose the “Embedded Video” option for Play Options in the Player Options settings. Stick with “Linked FLV Video” option.

  It does the same with the linked video option. Sorenson just can’t seem to handle keeping the audio on On2 VP6 codec Flash video clips in sync. Adobe’s Flash Video Encoder CS3 worked just fine though. Shame about Sorenson, it does a few things so well but it also lacks the ability to add watermarks to encoded videos, another big failure as far as I am concerned.

  I’m having the same problem with the same config but on Mac.
  Squeeze 4.5 + VP6… and I’m trying to compress DV files on Quicktime

  Have you finally found te solution?
