  DVCPro HD timeline to deliver on Web

  I’ve edited a 4 minute video that will be used as a banner video on a web site. It is currently in the DVCPro HD 1080i60 format. Any recommendations for a master codec format to give to the IT person? The main question is in regards to interlacing. As web video is played back mostly on a progressive computer screen, are there ways to avoid the problems you notice of interlaced footage on a progressive screen?

  You should probably ask them what delivery format they want. H.264 and VP6 are very popular delivery codecs, and likewise they can tell you what resolution they’d like the final delivery in.
