  HD Pal to dvd in pal and ntsc

  Am working in final cut pro on an xdcam hd project and need to put my final on dvd. the project is in pal with the 25p setting. i compressed in compressor in the regular dvd setting (mpeg2) and burned it onto a dvd in dvd studio pro but it looked too bright and really flat. also the dvd only plays on computers, not dvd player (am assuming because it is in pal? and my player is ntsc?) is there a way to burn a better quality dvd first of all, and second is there a way to convert it to ntsc in compressor? and put it on dvd? or do i need to go to a post house with this? if so does anyone know a good post house in NYC? any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated…
