  Weird Distortion when Duplicating a Character & Rig

  I am trying to duplicate my donut character. I do so succesfully. I am able to reposition him and move his arms as needed. and after several file versions when I reopen the project the duplicated character has distortion on certain parts. The Eyes, Icing, Sprinkles, etc.

  I cannot figure out why.
  Here is what happens: The donut on the plate is the one with the issues.

  

  I am on a trashcan at work. Don’t know the specs at the moment. I would appreciate any help, but I probably can’t upload the actual c4d file. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue.

  from the picture it looks like the donut, sprinkles, arms(?) have scaled down (or the icing is scaled up?) other than that can’t say and haven’t seen that.
